Talismanic Tattoos
A talismanic tattoo is a tattoo whose image has been intentionally and intuitively created in order to harness the energies of the present astrological moment in order to facilitate deep transformation and healing.

For this offering I use your birth chart mainly as a jumping off point to find imagery and metaphor and intuitively weave a narrative in the form of a tattoo that will not only represent you at this point in your journey, but will act as a guiding spirit to your future and past selves. I like to see the process as diving into the deep pool of your unconscious, fishing out symbols and fitting them together like puzzle pieces. This type of tattooing is ceremonial and spiritual, a blend of my own forms of knowledge and craft.
The birth chart is not a static image, it changes and evolves according to the astrological transits just like you as person are constantly growing and moving forward on your journey. For this reason, this type of offering is not something that can only be done once. We are creating a talismanic image, birthing a helping spirit from the symbols and archetypes that are coming to offer you guidance at this particular stage of your journey.

What is the process like for booking an appointment?
Booking is always open for talismanic tattooing. You can request an appointment through this google form. I will gather some information about you and about your intentions for the piece through this form and then will reach out via email to schedule an appointment for an initial virtual consultation.​

What should I expect from the initial consultation?
The virtual consultation is an hour long and will give us time to discuss the astrological transits currently affecting you and how these translate into symbols that will illuminate the creation of your tattoo. In preparation for the consultation, I take notes on your chart, and I also might pull some Tarot cards to bring further focus onto the symbols that will be healing and transformative to you through this tattoo. The consultation is a conversation, I want to hear from you as to what resonates and what you imagine this tattoo to look/feel like.
What happens after the initial consultation?
After speaking with you, I will book you an appointment to get the tattoo and you will also be sent an email with my notes from the consultation which includes my research on your chart and relevant symbolic connections. I will then begin working on the design and we will have time in person during the tattoo appointment to edit the design if needed.
What does pricing look like?
Currently my minimum for this offering is $500 and I can work within your budget as long as it is above the minimum. The cost of this offering reflects that this is essentially a combination astrology reading and tattoo, which requires additional labor and prepwork than typical tattoo sessions.
Do I need to know anything about astrology or tarot in order to get this type of tattoo?
No! Although I expect that people interested in this offering are probably at least curious about divination and spirituality, no prior experience or knowledge is necessary in order to benefit from this offering. I only ask about your familiarity with these topics on my booking form so that I can gauge how technical or not I can be during our consultation.
I've already had a birth chart reading before, will this differ from previous readings I may have had?
Yes. Each astrologer and intuitive has a slightly unique voice and will have different insight based on their unique practice and wisdom. If you have had previous readings, then you have a great foundation for us to build on. For this offering, I focus more on transits and I allow the images that come up throughout the process to guide me as to which parts of the chart to focus on. This allows me to pinpoint through my own visual language the insight that is needed for you benefit in this particular moment in time, rather than trying to broadly interpret the chart as a whole.
What If I don't know my birth time?
Astrology is just one method of reading your internal and external energies in the present moment. I can get enough information from your chart using just your birthday and location and if needed we can pull Tarot cards to further tap into the symbols that are speaking to your right now.
